Rom Chek Primary School is located in the Svay Leu District of Siem Reap Province and has a student population of almost 200, ranging from ages 6-12. With many families being unable to afford bicycles, students have to make long and tiring daily journeys by foot to reach school and return home.
In June 2019, 150 bicycles were donated to Rom Check Primary School. This gracious and practical gift provides students with a form of transportation that makes their daily journeys shorter and less exhausting, increasing the accessibility of school for them.
Bicycles for Cambodia would like to thank the donors for their meaningful donation to help improve the students’ lives, as well as their kind support for the cause.
